I’ve got one more bus to catch out of Cincinnati
Then I ‘m on my way
I missed you all, so much this year
and if this greyhound keeps rolling
I’ll be there Christmas morning

I admit I’ve got to get myself some family time, howling out carols ‘round a six foot tree, the only time of year we sing in harmony
I used to be too cool for all of this

Church bells ringing through the streets of my town,

joy in the air and snow on the ground
I used to be too cool for all of this

It’s been awhile since a holiday
has made me feel warm this way
my heart is light, and it’s alright
to be feeling like a kid again

decorations making memories
tinsel dancing all around me
angels given off a heavenly glow
catching a kiss under the mistletoe
