I’m All About Christmas

(JD Clarke, Steve Fox)

Hello mama, I’m coming home
I’ve got one more bus to catch out of Cincinnati
Then I ‘m on my way
I missed you all, so much this year
and if this greyhound keeps rolling
I’ll be there Christmas morning
and nothing’s gonna keep me away

I’m all about the smell of pine, a pot of mulled wine,
I admit I’ve got to get myself some family time, howling out carols ‘round a six foot tree, the only time of year we sing in harmony
I used to be too cool for all of this
but now I’m all about Christmas

Save me some supper, I’m gonna get there late
and your world class stuffing ain’t like nothing I’ve had in a long, long while

I don’t have much to put under the tree
I’m just bringing home my love
and I hope that it’s enough
and I really don’t care who knows

That I’m all about the
TV playing “It’s a wonderful life”
Bing Crosby crooning, “Silent Night”

Church bells ringing through the streets of my town,

joy in the air and snow on the ground
I used to be too cool for all of this
but now I’m all about Christmas

It’s been awhile since a holiday
has made me feel warm this way
my heart is light, and it’s alright
to be feeling like a kid again

I’m all about the
decorations making memories
tinsel dancing all around me
angels given off a heavenly glow
catching a kiss under the mistletoe

I used to be too cool for all of this
I can’t believe I was too cool for all of this
but now I’m all about Christmas

I’m coming home
I’m all about Christmas
